NEW COLLABORATION: Uvilov - Haciendo amigos en el desierto (feat. Algodón Egipcio)

Hey everyone! Been quiet for awhile ‘cause I’m working on new music, but I’m taking a quick break to share this new collaboration with you. My friends of Uvilov, from Monterrey, Mexico, just released their new album called El Desprendimiento (which is pretty great), and I contributed with vocals, guitars and synths on this song called “Haciendo amigos en el desierto” (“Making Friends in the Desert”). Vice just premiered this brand new remix I made for the Portuguese band Throes + The Shine. These guys are awesome, they mix rock and kuduro. I really wanted to keep the party spirit of the song, so here’s the result. And it’s a free download!!

NPR Music's 100 Favorite Songs of 2012 ↪

AWESOME! My song “La Espina del Cardenche” made it to the 50 Favorite Songs of 2012 list put together by NPR Music. I didn’t really release a lot of new music this year, so I was surprised to even be considered for any year-end list. I’m happy it was with this song, I’m particulary proud of it.
